Bespoke lipstick at Sea
If your idea of a perfect sea day includes a splash of glamour, Holland America Line has just the thing. The premium cruise line has launched the first-ever lipstick blending bar at sea, giving guests the chance to mix, melt, and name their very own shade while sailing the world.
Lipstick flavours look lovely
The new Blend Bar is a hands-on beauty experience led by trained consultants, where guests can design their own lipstick or gloss from a palette of more than 30 pigments, four finishes, and 20 flavours.
Whether you’re matching a discontinued favourite, creating a shade for formal night, or simply indulging your inner beauty lover, the results are entirely bespoke.
Once perfected, your unique blend is melted and poured into a lipstick mold or gloss tube, and finished with a custom name label — the perfect souvenir that’s both personal and practical. Each guest also receives a formula card to recreate their signature shade in the future.

For the eco-conscious cruiser, Blend Bar uses vegan, cruelty-free ingredients that are free from parabens, sulphates, phthalates, and GMOs, and enriched with antioxidants and SPF for sun protection.
The experience costs $65 for a lipstick or liquid matte, and $60 for a gloss.
Currently available on Holland America ships Nieuw Statendam, Eurodam, Westerdam, Oosterdam, Zuiderdam, Volendam, and Zaandam, the Blend Bar will roll out across the remaining ships by mid-November.
